The founder of this college Late Shri Kripa Ram ji established a society named “Shiksha Pracharini Sabha Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Degree College”.

Aims of the society were to develop the educational institutions to provide the educational facilities specially for the poor rural people . After the death of founder in 1999 the name of the society has been changed from Shiksha Pracharini Sabha Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Degree College Sarurpur Khurd to “Shri Kripa Ram Memorial Shiksha Pracharini Sabha Sarurpur Khurd Sardhana ( Meerut )”. The College is being managed by the above society.
